Poppy’s jewellery designs are pared back, graphic and bold, using non-precious materials and elevating their perceived status by turning them into jewellery.

Anna Opher works with precious metals & gemstones using techniques such as hammering, granulation and reticulation.

PIKAYA JEWELLERY

Pinar Kaya De Biasio designs and hand-makes contemporary jewellery under the brand name Pikaya jewellery. She grew up in a family of traditional jewellers who considered this occupation as “men’s job” and through her work she is challenging that belief. Pinar is a proud advocate for slow fashion movement and aiming to design and produce timeless, good quality pieces.

Edinburgh. Resin with extensive use of magnets as fittings. Worked with Manu (2000) then Adam Paxon & Wendy Sarah Pacey. Outlets & exhibitions include Scottish Gallery, Edinburgh; Mobilia Gallery, Boston, USA, Shipley Art Gallery, Gateshead & Galerie Marzee, Nijmegen.

JANE SEDGWICK

Jane makes bold and playful mixed-media jewellery, using sustainably sourced wood and textiles. Fascinated with how historical and domestic objects are made, Jane researches traditional craft technologies, which she combines with a contemporary aesthetic.  Jane often works with geometric forms, repetition, and colour, with an element of tactility central to each piece.

MARIKO SUMIOKA

Mariko Sumioka is a jeweller based in Japan

Inspired by Japanese traditional architecture and the sprit of Zen, her unique drawings and enamel techniques enable her to explore the inspiration into the wearable jewellery 

MIZUKI TAKAHASHI

Mizuki is a contemporary jewellery artist who works with a monochrome colour pallet using contrasting enamelled elements and oxidised silver. Prior to jewellery making, she seeks ideas from spending time with mark-making and playing with paper - these practices amuse and feed her simple yet delicate sculptural jewellery design ideas.
