Artist's statement

I grew up in Glasgow and attended Grays School of Art Aberdeen, specialising in Fine Art Printmaking. I gained a First Class Honours Degree and went on to study at Duncan of Jordanston Dundee, receiving a Master of Fine Art in 2000.

I specialise in collograph printmaking, which I find a perfect technique to recreate the texture, form and linear quality in the finished prints. I often collage my printing plates together to make unique mixed media artworks, which are rich in layers and vibrant in colour.

I use familiar sights such as trees, fields and houses within the compositions to recreate my love of the Scottish landscape.
