About the artist.
Rachel Emmerson combines contemporary design with the traditional techniques of hand engraving and enamelling to produce exquisite, sensual pieces of jewellery that contain a unique sense of depth and luminosity.
Gently curved forms accentuate the brightly cut textures of the silver and gold allowing a wonderful movement of light which flickers through the enamel, looking spectacular when worn. Inspiration is drawn from light patterns in nature and how they transform colour and shape.
