About the Artist
Contemporary fine jewellery inspired by traditional head ornament, especially Korea and Britain.
I believe that jewellery is a dream which is power, wealth, hope and happiness. Jewels have compensated for three of man’s basic insecurities: vanity, superstition and the desire for material wealth. Jewellery’s glitter, colour and beautiful elements seem to stimulate man’s spirit. I consider that what can be representing all of the people’s desire which is power, wealth and happiness. Then I found that could be a hair ornament such as tiara.
Materials include silver, non precious stone beads, fabric and thread with technique of intricate hand piecing, traditional jewellery making skills and beading.
