About Judit Patkos
Judit Patkos is a Hungarian-born UK-based jewellery designer and maker. Having studied enamelling and jewellery making in Budapest and London, she has developed her distinctive creative voice through self-directed exploration, and years of hands-on practice.
Working primarily in silver and enamel, Judit's contemporary jewellery is characterised by clean geometric forms, expressive surface textures, and carefully considered colour accents. Her work is inspired by the visual language of abstract art, drawing influence from painting, photography, and architecture, with a particular interest in composition and the interplay between colour and monochrome.
Her Splash! Collection showcases an instinctive enamelling process developed through experimentation. Layers of enamel form the foundation before liquid enamel is introduced in spontaneous, painterly gestures, creating expressive patterns shaped by the interaction of material, heat and timing. Each piece evolves intuitively, making every enamel surface entirely unique. The finished enamel artworks either stand alone as small, self-contained pieces or are incorporated into Judit's contemporary silver jewellery designs, where clean geometric forms frame and complement their expressive surfaces.
