Jo McAllister designs and makes jewellery and metaphysical objects. Her award winning work has been exhibited nationally and internationally since 2001, notably at Galerie Marzee, Nijmegen; Electrum Gallery; the Crafts Council shop at the V&A; Contemporary Applied Arts; The Goldsmiths' Fair, London and LOOT at the Museum of Arts and Design, New York. In 2016 a piece of her work was acquired by the Alice & Louis Koch Collection of finger rings, now housed in the Swiss National Museum, Zurich.

A storyteller and a poet, a collagist and an artist, Jo Pond comes from a family of 'Ponds' who appear to have a genetic necessity for hoarding and a passion for objects which others might not quite appreciate...Some of these find their way into her work.
