About Audrey Jack
Audrey's graduate collection, ‘Postcards from the Edge: Wish You Were Here’, is a series of brooches and pendants inspired by memories, travel, and landscape photography.
The collection explores the universal themes of emotional breakdown, latency, and awakening through abstract expression and colour, inviting deeper personal interpretation. Each piece becomes a conversation between intuition and intention, moving beyond literal imagery to reflect shared emotional landscapes.
Circular forms, reminiscent of lenses, or windows to the soul, frame the interplay of colour and texture, guiding the viewer’s eye and anchoring the abstract. Using materials such as enamel, graffiti paint, embroidery, fabric, and resin, the work reflects the fluid nature of perception and the tension between inner and outer worlds.
These wearable snapshots transform into intimate portable artworks that allow emotional and aesthetic connection in daily life. They act as talismans, encouraging the wearer to embrace abstraction, create personal meaning, and make a quiet but powerful external statement about their internal world.
