Over 80 designers exhibit work in a variety of materials and they come from almost every corner of the World. The selection this year, offers the main jewellery exhibition plus a Specials section devoted to mainly one-off larger pieces including small objects and silversmithing. As usual their will also be a Men's section specialising in work made with men in mind. And this year a new section called Dazzle in Stitches, showing the work of five of the most internationally respected contemporary embroiderers who work in figurative and abstract pictures for the walls. Added to this a designer commissioned to make one-off mirrors and you have a wonderful mix of the most exciting new work available anywhere in the world. Over 3,000 individial pieces make up the whole.

Standing out this year, are many talented youngsters plucked straight from their college degree shows - they include Anna Wales, Jan Rooney and Momoko Kumai. Along with the more established designers such as Jane Adam, Elisabeth Bone, Lilian Busch, John Field and Lesley Strickland.

No wonder that most of the major national broadsheets continually review Dazzle exhibitions and the makers themselves have cult followings with their work appearing in major collections throught the World.

Designers
	JANE ADAM Jane Adam is one of Britain's leading studio jewellers. Graduated from the Royal College of Art in 1985, she has taken part in hundreds of group and solo exhibitions in Britain and abroad. In many major public and private collections, including those of the Crafts Council, London; Victoria & Albert Museum, London; Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery; Cooper Hewitt Museum of Design, New York, USA; and Carnegie Museum of Art, Pittsburgh, USA.
	KATHRYN ADAMSON Edinburgh. Wood, felt and other mixed media. Published in Crafts Council Gift Guide 2005. Exhibitions include Crafts Council Gallery, London and the Leith Gallery, Edinburgh.
	JULIE ALLISON Edinburgh. Figurative work in precious metals. Featured in The Herald & Sunday Herald 2004. Outlets include Kalo, Glasgow, Rosie Brown & Velvet Boutique, Edinburgh.
	MARIANNE ANDERSON Glasgow. Precious metals including precious and semi-precious stones specialising in rings. Worked with top textile designer Tomoko Hayashi. Outlets include : Aaron Faber, New York; Design Yard, Dublin; Electrum, London; The Scottish Gallery, Edinburgh; Flow Gallery, London; Mobilia Gallery, Massachusetts and Orro, Glasgow.
	ALENA ASENBRYL Manchester. Uses various materials including textiles, plastics and mixed metals. Outlets include Manchester Craft & Design Centre (her own gallery), Lesley Craze, London, The Harley Gallery, Worksop, Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester & the Craft & Design Centre, Leeds.
	ELIZABETH BONE London based. Principle materials are silver and 18ct gold with some new work in Palladium. Elizabeth is a well established jeweller who has been practising for nineteen years. Her work has a strong sculptural, modernist aesthetic. Outlets include Electrum Gallery, Lesley Craze Gallery, Contemporary Appiied Arts, Ruthin Craft Centre, Gallery Si Japan.
	ANGIE BOOTHROYD Born California, studied studio arts initially in Los Angeles, then at the Royal College of Art in London. Multicoloured, high-carat golds, and silver. In the Alice & Lewis Koch Collection, Switzerland. Outlets include Electrum, Lesley Craze, and Flow in London; DesignYard in Ireland; Gallery Marzee in the Netherlands, Galeria Artesania in Japan.
	NINA BUKVIC London based. Works in gold, oxidized silver, rough diamonds, pearls. Outlets include Electrum, CAA - London. Design Yard - Dublin Scottish Gallery - Edinburgh, Alternatives - Rome, Barneys - USA.
	LILIAN BUSCH Scotland. Danish-born, works in silver & gold using pearls from the Orient, with emphasis on surface treatment. Won the prestigious Tahitian Pearl Trophy in 2005, in all three categories. Outlets include Robert Feather, York; JAM, Eton & Electrum, London & Williamson Brown, Newcastle upon Tyne.
	KATHERINE CAMPBELL-LEGG Birmingham. Silver jewellery with rolled pattern & texture & 18-ct gold applied. Outlets include Tomfoolery, London; Nancy Smillie, Glasgow & Eton Applied Arts, Windsor.
