This August we will be back at Dovecot Studios for our 42nd year at the Edinburgh Festival.

DAZZLE, est in 1981 is one of the UK’s leading contemporary jewellery exhibitions. We first showed at the Edinburgh Festival in 1983, making Dazzle one of the UK’s longest running and most anticipated contemporary jewellery shows, providing an exciting platform for creative jewellery design and exhibiting a thoughtfully curated selection of makers on the forefront of contemporary practice. Over the last four decades Dazzle has showcased over 2000 independent designers, from established jewellers to emerging talent and this years show is no different. Dazzle Edinburgh 2025 will feature over 55 contemporary jewellers showing over 2,000 pieces, all available for sale. Beyond jewellery, will be limited edition prints by Hetty Haxworth and knitwear by Collingwood Norris

Dovecot Studios IKEA Magical Pattern exhibition

 

WHAT'S ON AT DOVECOT STUDIOS

IKEA Museum's Magical Patterns exhibition comes to Edinburgh, celebrating 60 years of innovative textile design. Magical Patterns showcases 180 iconic fabrics that reflect the role of IKEA in shaping Swedish design. From bold prints to playful patterns, the exhibition spans six decades, featuring works from the revolutionary Swedish collective 10-gruppento modern design icons.

Designers

EVE BALASHOVA

Eve Balashova explores repetition, movement and manipulation of shape and form in her statement jewellery. She combines strict geometry with soft flowing curves to create unique, vibrant and energetic pieces.

DONNA BARRY

Edinburgh, award winning jeweller Donna Barry, designs and creates beautiful botanical jewellery collections, inspired by her love of flowers and foliage, plants, and repetitive patterns in nature.

HENDRIKE BARZ-MELTZER

Hendrike Barz-Meltzer creates jewellery which has a clear, understated and elegant aesthetic. She is fascinated by patterns and these find expression in her pieces through the application of gold patterns on silver backgrounds.

ISABELLA BEDLINGTON

Isabella creates timeless jewellery impacted by history and belief. Every piece is handcrafted in precious metals utilising the torus shape as her reoccurring motif. She creates minimalist everyday jewellery with a strong aesthetic impact, as well as one-off statement pieces with intricate patterns and textures.

LAUREN BELL BROWN

Lauren Bell-Brown is a Nottingham based jeweller who combines cuttlefish and lost wax casting techniques to create a collection brimming with floral forms.

ADELE BRERETON

Adele Brereton's jewellery is based around discarded and eroded manmade objects often found within her local urban environment. She draws inspiration from these irregular forms and rusty finds to create work with an inherently organic aesthetic.

ELIZABETH CAMPBELL

Elizabeth Jane Campbell is a jeweller and deisgner, specialising in contemporary enamel. Her work explores a personal sense of balance, using precious and non-precious metals as a canvas for her unique enamelling methods

 

 

MICHAEL CARBERRY

Michael Carberry has a distinctive style of jewellery, which owes a great deal to sculpture, with his hand forged rings, bracelets and neck pieces looking as if they have grown from the metal.

SUZANNE CLAIRE

Contemporary jewellery using crocheted and French knitted chains, combined with stunning French knit imprinted pieces. Suzanne Claire is a Manchester based jeweller. 

TANIA CLARKE HALL

Tania Clarke Hall crafts her jewellery from leather.  Her cutting edge designs are versatile and playful yet retain a timeless elegant quality.  Working from her central London studio.
