JENNY LLEWELLYN

Jenny Llewellyn is a jewellery designer-maker based at Cockpit Arts in London. Vibrant, fluid and experimental, Jenny’s practice is an exploration of colour! Her jewellery is characterised by handcrafted, organic forms of precious metals, combined with vibrant bursts of silicone. 

DEBBIE LONG

Debbie Long graduated from Middlesex Polytechnic in 1991 with a First Class Honours Degree. She creates highly original and innovative pieces of hand folded and forged metal jewellery. She works from her studio in Carshalton, South London. 

TINA MACLEOD

Scottish designer/maker Tina Alexandra MacLeod works predominately in silver but also explores Japanese alloy techniques such as shibuichi and mokume gane to create hollow forms. Using colour as a surface texture through patination, she is able to convey a sense of the unique nature of the Scottish Highlands.

HEATHER MCDERMOTT

Heather McDermott is a contemporary jeweller based on the Isle of Skye. Her newest collection ‘Tidal Surge’ contemporises the shoreline of Skye by using stainless steel, acrylic and vivid colour. Heather creates statement, wearable pieces that reflect her love of contemporary jewellery. Heather graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 2011 with an MA in jewellery and recently launched her business in late 2012.

 

EMMA McFARLINE

Emma McFarline specialises in contemporary jewellery and enamelling. She graduated from Edinburgh College of Art with a degree in Jewellery & Silversmithing in 2011 and now lives and works in Northern Ireland. Since graduating she has won various awards, including the British Society of Enamellers New Graduate Award which helped her to establish her practice. She has also taken part in a variety of exhibitions throughout the UK and abroad, most notably Talente in Munich

 

JOHN MOORE

Leamington Spa. Silver and anodised aluminium. Mother is established jeweller Jane Moore who runs a gallery in Leamington Spa. Outlets include Ruthin Craft Centre, Harley Gallery, Nottingham; Craft & Design Centre, Leeds and Oriel Mostyn, Llandudno.

ZSUZSI MORRISON

Since graduating from the Royal College of Art in 1988, Zsuzsi Morrison has created individual and one off enamel pieces by hand.. Using traditional enamelling techniques to express modern concepts, her work has a distinct avant-garde personal language. Her pieces are in many private collections and exhibited in galleries and design shops in London, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Hong Kong, the USA and UK. Outlets include CAA and Brook Gallery. She also makes work to commission.

KELLY MUNRO

Kelly Munro's jewellery combines branded wood, knotted rubber and delicately pierced metal, both precious and non- precious. She uses the traditional process of wood burning and mixed with the creation of her own tools used to manipulate the surface of the wood. Combining this with hand pierced structures that loosely represent fishing nets she tries to capture the rustic feel of her homeland and fishing heritage at the very far north coast of Scotland.

 

KATHIE MURPHY

London. Born Morocco. Works with resin & rubber. In the collection of the National Museums of Scotland & Aberdeen Art Gallery. Recently completed her first book, Cast Resin Jewellery published by A & C Black. Shortlisted for the Arts Foundation Po Shing Woo Jewellery Prize, 2001. Work recently bought by TV resonality Jon Snow. Outlets include Lesley Craze, London, Craft & Design Centre, Leeds & The Scottish Gallery, Edinburgh.
