Artist's Statement
Inspired by the Japanese aesthetic of wabi sabi where beauty is found in natural imperfection, Tania chooses to work with the cut edge of leather.
Edges are cut, slashed, twisted, moulded and boldly coloured to create her distinctive sculptural pieces of jewellery.
Tania has had her work shown in Galerie Marzee in Holland, the V&A Shop, Tate Modern and earlier this year was commissioned to design a range for London’s Southbank Centre.
