Artist's Statement
Sarah's work is an evolution of strong forms, utilising flowing linear shapes with bold clear sweeping lines. Combining her skill in CAD design with traditional techniques her award winning work continues to emerge with new forms, utilising textures and geometric elements.
It is Sarah's intention is to create intelligent designs that bring aesthetic pleasure, as jewellery, and also as objects in their own right. She is very much inspired by the urban environment, adding her own organic interpretation.
Engineering and problem solving play their part in Sarah's designs and her solutions are as much part of each piece as the design itself.
