I am interested in the concept of Escapism. Science fiction and fantasy tales are the means by which I indulge my escapist feelings. My products enhance everyday tasks with their quirky and amusing qualities and become a talking point at social gatherings such as dinner parties.
Through my interest in science fiction, I have found the rounded and curving forms of the night sky to provide satisfying shapes to design with. My collection of 'Tea Instruments' were further inspired by the art of the Japanese Tea Ceremony as they offer a playful ritualism when drinking tea.
