KATE SMITH

Kate Smith is based in the world famous Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham. She graduated in jewellery design from Middlesex University.

By closely observing forms and patterns within nature, Kate's silver and gold jewellery echoes the objects that she has drawn inspiration from.

About Kate

After completing a degree in jewellery design at Middlesex University, Kate soon embarked on, what was to become, her flourishing career. In 2001, Kate Smith Jewellery Design was established in the heart of the world famous Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham.

From her studio, Kate designs and makes beautiful, precious jewellery in silver and gold. Inspired by drawings and photograpghs of natures tiny details, the jewellery that she creates echo object such as seed heads, new shoots and floral silhouettes. All items are hallmarked in Birmingham.

The diverse collections that she has launched over the past 8 years all have one thing in common; skilled craftsmanship  combined with inspired design.
