About Jo
Graduated Epsom School of Art 1992 and Post Graduate at Glasgow School of Art 1993. After completing a Jewellery Residency at Bishopsland Workshops 1994, she set up her own workshop in Hoxton, East London. Opened @ Work Gallery in Brick Lane, London in 1998 (selling the work of over 80 U.K and International Designers). Second Branch opened in Pimlico, London in 2005. Currently Managing Director of @ Work Galleries and making jewellery mainly to commission from her workshop in the Pimlico branch. She specializes in mixing silver and gold together in various forms including fusing and incorporating precious and semi-precious stones. Also teaching jewellery workshops privately, beginners and intermediate courses and mentoring for individual designer makers.
